Chenhui Peng received his PHD from Liquid Crystal Institute of Kent State University in November, 2016. He will be working on the project of improving dental health by electrokinetics starting from Dec. 1st, 2016. Before I joined this group, my first research area was to study the induced charge electrokinetics phenomena in isotropic water and novel electrokintics mechanism in the liquid crystalline medium. My second research area was to study the collective behavior of out-of-equilibrium active matter which represents the bacteria suspension in the liquid crystalline medium. My third research area was to study particle positioning and sorting by combining elastic interaction between colloids and liquid crystal distortions and electrokinetics flows.
